The Peninsula Wrestling Club is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.  All donations are tax deductible.  As a non-profit club, we depend on our fund raising efforts and tax deductive contributions for our expenses.  Our annual expenses look like this:

TOTAL CLUB EXPENSES   $111,300.00
CONTRIBUTED BY PARTICIPANTS   $ 10,500.00
CONTRIBUTED IN KIND BY THE CITY OF PORTLAND   $ 20,000.00

NET EXPENSE WHICH WE MUST RAISE THROUGH
FUND RAISING AND CONTRIBUTIONS.
  $100,800.00

A young person belonging to Peninsula Wrestling Club who participates in all tournaments in a season, would have expenses of about $1,170.  He/She would have the benefit of belonging to a community program with a reputation of producing good citizens.  With your support, the young person would have an entire year of character building, would gain self-esteem, learn sportsmanship (winning and losing graciously), and fair play.  The young person would work with adults, other young people, and members of diverse ethnic groups, learning wrestling terminology and technique, healthful dietary habits, the importance of regular practice and being on time, and keeping their head in times of stress.  These are all qualities which will be helpful long after wrestling is over.

If you need more information about our Club or would like a presentation of our program, please let me know.  Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for the support you give these young people.
